After the completion of a wonderful tenth anniversary celebration, it was back to business as the Paxlair Statehood held its weekly meeting atop the United tamers of Britannia Guild Hall in southern Guardians Gate. As always Governor Winfield welcomed speakers and guests alike to the community wide meeting with a short speech noting that Paxlair along with UTB and RBG members formed a wonderful entry into the 2007 Stratics Holiday Contest taking home 2nd place for thier efforts.

City reports were heard from each repsective city within the statehood as some key issues, acitivites and ideas were presented. Chief Justice Kathleen explained the current court case regarding PaxOku's omnipitous leader Mula had grinded to a stand still as word was passed of her untimely demise during the tenth anniversary celebration inside the city as she was slain outside the banquet hall that very night. Pending confirmation of her death the court case may be closed however due to the claims made by Mayor Gareth concerning her rule Chief Justice Kathleen ruled the case open until further notice. Lord Nanoc of Dragons Watch put in charge of the delivery of an appearance order for Mula was asked to hold that order until concrete evidence of Mula's death was comfirmed. Also noted from the city of PaxOku was Charlene Howard of the Crest of Couragous Hearts Guild (CH) annoucing the reopening of the PaxRatOku Auction house which held its first event Monday evening and also announced a second auction for the week on Wednesdays eve at 8pm lasting an hour.
Concluding city reports several guest speakers stepped forward to present new ideas to the community. Elias of the Keepers of Dawn (KPD) spoke of the currently deteriorating economy outside Luna's walls offering a remedy in the creation of an upcoming vendor association where all scattered vendors might work together to reach the general population. This brought a envigorating cheer from those present as we've all felt the burden of peddling our wares in the far reaches of the realm. Look for more information soon Elias answered.
Eric the Red was in attendance to announce a gathering for those "ooc" fans of the magic theatre box's program "Lost" on next Thursday at program time. Look to the Paxlair skypages for more info regarding times and locations.
Lady Sebrina of the Keepers of Dawn (KPD) offered a heartfelt "job well done" to Neo of Lothlore on his extraordinary pictoral slide show of the history of Paxlair located here: http://www.paxlair.com/~neolothlore/10_Year_Pictorial/pictorial10th.htm
Rounding out announcements was Lady Katherine's announcement that the famed "Museum of the Virtues" housing one of the largest collections of Chesapeake lore and history had recently completed its move north of the UTB Guildhall inside Guardians Gate.
All in all it was a fine evening for the Paxlair community as the glow of last weeks celebration and the bright future that lay ahead in the next decade were evident as the Paxlair Statehood continues to help build the Chesapeake community! Join them next Tuesday evening around 8:30pm with location to be announced here in.
