Locked Runes And Book?

Two runes are locked down on the Luna bank
floor along with a blue book with information. The two runes
are for Chesapeakes two auction houses KFC and SHE auction
house.
These runes were locked down by EM Vladimere. After contacting the KFC
Auction house and SHE auction house it was revealed to me why this was
done. Simply put griefers. EM Vladimere did this for them after watching
for weeks runes being collected as they were laying them down. EM Vladimere
put a kink in the griefers plans by locking the rune. This was seen as not
just trying to stop people from picking them up but, also seen as EM
Vladimere trying to help promote the shard community. We hope that this
addition stays and is improved upon.
Maybe they could do runebooks.

King Hen the GM of KFC released this statement around noon.
“Having a rune locked down is an outstanding way to promote community events. Whether this is a permanent feature of EM Vladimere or not, I for one appreciate all that he has done to date for the Chesapeake shard. While some folks have issues with one another, this is certainly something that can be looked upon as a positive. The two runes that are locked down currently are the only two auctions on the shard to date. Obviously the more consistent events that are ran, the issue of “room” could come up. For now it is a nice reminder that our EM is active and is aware of what is going on in our shard. It is my understanding that EM Vladimere enjoys community events and we have been blessed to have him at our auction house several times.”

Mesanna snuck onto the Chesapeake shard to look at the runes. She
probably thought she would get past me. I have people everywhere
Mesanna!! Anyways she then asked people at the bank what they
thought. They all agreed it was a good idea.
Sami agreed it looked untidy. So Mesanna is asking for people to give
ideas on how to make it look more presentable. You should let EM
Dudley or Vladimere know your ideas. I myself will be doing one and
posting it here since they read the forums. You can also send your
ideas to EM Dudley at [email protected]
Get your minds a turning people. Lets see if we cannot do something
for runes and not have to put down 50 runes all at once hmm?
Attend the All Shard Meeting Tomorrow At 8pm EST
The Blaze Tent is in the Luna Fairgrounds South of Luna City
That is where the meeting will be held. It is unknown if it is
just EM Vladimere and Em Dudley or if Mesanna will be there
"If we are going to do this I want everyone to understand this is for everyone/guild on the shard."
