Are your shoes worn thin from traveling from town to town? Is your voice hoarse and sore from speaking with citizens across Britannia? Have a knack for putting pen to paper and writing an excellent story? Then perhaps UO Stratics' Baja News Page is the place where you can not only show off your talent but also help bring the community together with interesting, exciting stories and news items about the Baja Shard and her citizens. Baja has a very active role playing community as well as other player ran events. Factor in two dedicated Event Moderators with ongoing storylines and there is much to report on!

UO Stratics is currently looking for active, talented citizens to add to our crack team of top-notch Ultima Online reporters.

As a volunteer you will be asked to:

* Be a competent writer
* Be an active, knowledgeable member of your community
* Be willing to attend events and quests, interview VIPs, report news of interest to the community
* Be able to dedicate a minimum of three hours per week to writing and/or posting news items
* Have a familiarity with basic HTML
* Be pro-active
* Be diplomatic and impartial
* Work well with a team

I can say with all honesty that being a reporter is fun and exciting. Being able to interact with other players on a different level and being invited to witness and report on things is just amazing.

I may not be a whole lot active in my reporting any longer but that isn't because I found it boring or not fun anymore. If I were to log on right now and witness something that is [NEWS] worthy you bet i'd post it ASAP. So for all those out there I say to give reporting a shot, it may not sound as much fun as you think...but you will change your mind

And although I doubt she'd do it and will probably hurt me for calling her out but I think Prosers would make an amazing reporter if she stays in character. I can see the head lines now!

Currently, WarderDragon is the only reporter on duty. (I have to take some time off due to coming down with shingles.) It would be wonderful if someone would step up and help him out, especially with the EM 'Trials' event happening.
