[NEWS:] EM Event: Escorting Clainin to Safety Tuesday March 17th

New shields were recently placed in the councilors hall in Britain used by the EMs.The shields state that an EM event will be held Tuesday March 17th at 7:30 PM EST and you are to gather in Luna (I am guessing the bank Moongate area?) if you wish to take part. It appears the event will involve escorting Clainin to safety. So come prepared for any possible situation.

In an surprise move the starting location has changed to Luna! Hope everyone caught this post in time!

The real question is how will we be escorting the man, boat or moongate... And would anyone have even known about Clainin if we obsessed fans didnt demand that Casca couldn't be King without his vote?

At any rate it looks like the elves are taking over to regain there treacherous rule over Sosaria!!

Um, Clainin is gone from the Healer Hut.

The upstanding Dark Revelations guild was lead to Clainin's defense as they waited patiently for orders from their guild mistress Lady Calina and her husband guild master Lord Magyar.

They then followed Robert of the Royal Britain Guard to New Haven where they were ambushed. Many died in saving Clainin, however some survived to assist with resurrections.

Robert behaved far too diplomatically for a guard... at least for my tastes. Something is afoot and I know that Casca is somehow connected to it.

To even the score, I'm going to drop this little tidbit. Del wears pajamas. They don't have feet in them, but if they made him in his size, his would have feet in them.

We got Rallied... by Casca in Luna.
We went... to New Haven.
We saw... Clainin waking up and weak.
We listened... to his perspective.
We escorted... him to the West of New Haven.
We defended the perimeter... versus some area damaging creatures.
We got owned... with the exception of the ones that reacted fast.
We also "won"... Clainin made it out alive...

Clainin is now hidden in a town... protected from... harm. *coughs*

I spent most of the time lagged up in Haven so missed most of that part of the event. Someone mentioned a gate opened up just as the we where attacked did Clainin go in that gate?

Clainin is "safe", supposedly. However, considering that his vote is the only thing standing between Casca and the throne permanently, I wouldn't call him being protected by Casca's people as "safe".

It was my understanding that even with the council voting Casca in, if Clainin said 'No', it wouldn't happen... and look who just woke up.

The Clainin was exactly the same on the other two shards I play, thus I am guessing it was the same all over. So I don't know who you would blame if you didn't like it.

Listening to what Robert the guard said after Clainin was safe, and after Casca was long gone. Lasts nights event was mostly a spring board for this weekend. I'd keep an eye on the shields in Britannia. Recalling his words...um as best I can remember them:

Forgotten player: We wish to help the Royal Britannian Guard.
Robert: There will be time for that this weekend.
Robert: *Wink*

Roughly...that was what he said.
