Enhanced Client New Player Quest broken - way to drive off new players

Failing to an attempt to Recall using the special rune, or failing to beat the Knight on your first attempt, frequently makes the rune unusable. There is no fix for this; as only one rune can be acquired per character, the only way around it is to create a new one using the KR client and start from scratch."


I just tried that last night on a charater I made a few months ago on Enhanced Client, I think I played the charater full time on enhanced and the quest bug happened and I looked it up and found that page.

This is a known issue that is already in the system.

When you create a new char in the EC you go through a mini quest which gives you a "The Darkness" rune and encourages you to beat the boss of old haven.

Only problem is that when you have trained your char and try to use the rune you just get "somthing is blocking this location" which makes the rune unusable (you cannot recall from this object right now).

Neither works with Chiv nor Magery.

Kinda awesome to let new players stand in the rain.
