I have another project in mind. Can people do me a favor and post in this thread the names (not just the tags, please) of which guilds they think are the most active on their shard?

Once this thread starts getting some replies, I'll start editing this post to keep things organized by shard. For now I put in some of the guilds that I could think of before having coffee.

I can't really argue with the two you have for Atlantic... but I do seem to see more folks and tags flying from TWT - The Wheel of Time than I do UWF or LLTS. I guess it depends on where your travels actually take you though.

Not sure why you are only seeing 11 members for UOS (UO Stratics) on Napa Valley. We have 258 members and have had 90 log ins within the last 90 days.

Went back through the list I made the other day (separate thread) and pulled a few of the more active-looking guilds from that list and added them. Didn't have the heart to knock anyone off a "top" list, so now striving for a top 50 list. It's at 35 now just from including the guilds I know about so far that have about 50 different characters logged in within the last 90 days. It's too bad that Chesapeake and Yamato can't even be included as MyUO shows no login data at all for those shards, and it's looking like several other shards are headed in that direction as well if nothing changes in the next couple of months.

UO.com isn't showing when the last time people logged in was for some reason though. It just says "Unknown" for everyone.

Surprised no one has responded for Lake Austin yet. UMP ("Universal Melting Pot") seems to be the most active. Members of HAP ("Honor and Pride") have recently returned...I think the "P" is Pride. And N**K (Northern Knights) are becoming active again.

Thank you, Phoenix! It's impossible to get any login info for Chesapeake or Yamato guilds from MyUO at this point, so it's good to get some "insider" information instead. Can you tell me if the 264 characters that logged in within the last 90 days includes the 144 who logged in during the last 30 days, or are they two separate groups of characters? Thanks!

I threw everything in a Google spreadsheet and grabbed new totals today. Spreadsheet is here: UO's Most Active Guilds

Hopefully everything in the spreadsheet is self-explanatory.

Can't make any promises for keeping this updated over the long haul. Also, as noted previously, there are no numbers available at all on uo.com for some shards and I really think the numbers for some other shards (e.g., Great Lakes for one) look fishy. Also, for Sonomans, the PAS numbers looked a lot better today than two weeks ago.

Fantastic work!

With regard to Drachenfels, the figures may not tell the whole story: DF has a shard-wide alliance with 100 guilds or so. There are MANY MANY guilds with 1-20 chars - but united in the Alliance. The Alliance "Drachenfels United" is kinda the guild of all guilds, except a few PKs.

It´s great that Siege Perilous´ two largest guilds are among the TOP 20 of UO.

But Siege is dead, yea I know
