For screen shots, what I do is use the "Prt Scr" button on my keyboard. It is usually located above your "Ins", "Del", "Home", "End", etc. buttons. Then what you do is use ctrl-v to paste it into some graphics program, you can even paste it into Windows Paint I believe. Just make sure you shrink it to a reasonable size, or just cut out the parts you want to use, and save it in a compressed format - jpg is good. Whatever you do don't post it to the web as a bmp file.
