aaand, I live. Totaled my t100. I was about to call my wife, and BAM, this 21 year old kid ran a light and broke my ass off. I feel alright aside from a throbbing knee and a fat lip and a waffle-pattern blood-blister across my chest from the seat-belt in conjunction with a thermal shirt. I promised my wife I'd have the knee x-rayed tomorrow. Anyways, the point:

I need phone numbers from my closest bff's. As I said before, I was about to call my wife, and the phone must have literally exploded against my face or something. You guys know who you are, gimme the digits, mommacitas.

Dont just stop at the knee get everything checked out that you can while its on the guy's insurances dime. some injuries you wont feel for 2-3 days after when the pain from others subsides.

1- Dont sign anything the insurance co. may give you.

2- Dont take any settlement Unless it covers Med bills, New car, Car rental at least.

3- make sure you get everything checked out by doctors prior to accepting money.

4- call a lawyer, A: The insurance company will try to screw you. B: It will be on the Insurance co. dime. C: will help ensure that you get the financial help you need, Be it new car, Lost wages med bills exc.exc.

Vicodin makes me really sick. When I broke my leg and when I came down with really bad hives from a bad allergic reaction (I guess it was for the swelling and itching? I didn't get it either...) and what not, the doctors prescribed vicodin and I spent hours at the toilet puking.

Perkaset (sp) works well. But that **** is highly addictive.

Protip: the active ingredient in Percocet is the same as what is in oxycontin so be careful if your doctor gives it to you

THC works best for me, UP here in the Evergreen state I'm allowed 15 plants and up to 28oz on person, Per Dr. orders and State law.

yes oxy is real bad, up here its gotten to the point where working at Walgreens is more dangerous than being a police officer in L.A.

Vicodin and Percocet both contain opioids which, as a class of drugs, can cause nausea to varying degrees. Since both are similar in how they work but are slightly different (chemically speaking), this is likely the reason why one of them caused the nausea and the other didn't. Morphine causes me to barf but the other opioids I have taken over the years do not.

As for their addictiveness, there's way more to that than just the type of drug. A big part of it is the individual and whether or not they have that kind of personality. Don't get me wrong, people can get addicted to these medications, but taken to control pain under the proper circumstances, these types of meds are extremely effective. So many people go through unnecessary pain in their life because of their fear of addiction.

Anyways... my 2 cents.
