I recently started on the path to gm tinkering. My character Shackles on GL is a GM smith and miner. So here we go: today 48-65.2 making only lockpicks when I was able to, I think that was around 50.

Gotta go the wife is coming!!!!

Today I went from 65.2 - 76.5 real. I made only lockpicks and ended up with 398 picks using 588 ingots.

Gains for the day: 83.8-87.4 real. Used 885 ingots making only picks. 770 picks.

Yesterdays gains were as follows: 87.4-90.6 after 20 minutes of only .2 increase making only picks switched to heating stands for the remainder of my ph. Used 2010 ingots.

Todays gains: 90.6-93.1 real. I made only heating stands and went through 2210 ingots. I can see the light, its a small light but I can see it. By the way does anyone want to buy any heating stands? Hehe!!!!!

Some say there is a difference.
Try one ph in fel and see how much you gain there.

or ice isle as i've seen a few post as a good place to train

Just Felucca in general.
Inside bank is of course the safest place unless you own a house in Fel.

Yesterday's gains. Moved around a bit did not notice any diference than staying in one location. Also stayed in tram. 93.1-95.2 real. I made only heat stands and burned 2118 ingots. I have enough ingots for 2 more ph will probably not make it to gm, that sux will have to go mine some more.

My gains from last night in Tram: 95.2-96.9 real made only heating stands and used 2437 ingots will try Fel tonight.

Todays gains: 96.9-98.5 made only heating stands in fel so not much of a difference. Used 2551 ingots. Ran out of ingots gotta go mining.

Well I did it. I am now a GM Tinkerer. Went from 98.5-99.9 during ph using 2574 ingots making only heating stands. Could not wait had to go for it, it took me an additional 400 ingots to get that last .1, but well worth it. Now I can supply gm boxes for my aspiring Treasure hunter. Thanks for everyones help. Next up Carpentry.

From 65,2 - 90 = 4198
From 90 - 95 = 4328
From 95 - GM = 7562

I would think that fel would give better gains because there are less people on the server training that particular skill.

im at 96.5ish now and im about to go for it tonight in fel from 11pm to 1 am and use 2 ph in one
if like you i get to 99.9 i just gota go on to gm

also a tip on carp
stockpile 100k of planks b4 you start
youll gm it as quick as tinkering
