Governor Tanda of Minoc has heard disturbing reports of deteriorating labor conditions in the mines, and other work sites, in and around Minoc – and that these conditions are being enforced by armed thugs.
Come to either the Matewan (the labor building in Minoc, located at coordinates 100 north, 79 East), or to the Minoc bank (and we'll get you to the Matewan from there), on Wednesday September 16, at 8pm Central/9pm Eastern, to help to guard Governor Tanda as she, at the demand of the people of Minoc, conducts a site visit to the mine.

Out-of-character note: This will be a player event, assisted by the Player Event Coordinator. This will be the start of an event cycle that will consist of at least two events assisted by the Player Event Coordinator (on Wednesday the 16th and Wednesday the 30th), and potentially some other, player-run only events during that two week period or later on.
