Mining : set to ore and stone...

my test:
mining ore only, i get 2-6 gems each mining round
if i set the pickaxe to ore and stone, i get more then 50% less gems as if i set only to ore.
intended?
you have the same experience?

That's interesting.

I usually mine stone as well as ore as it stacks now & doesn't create the storage problems of before. I might turn stone off for a while and compare gems.
