OK bear with me. I've hunted Miasma the last couple of days for her chests. Of the 10 or so I got, 5 of them are for Tram locations (yes off Miasma who's in Malas.. Malas maps from Miasma chests, are ok good solid locations). Of the 5 tram location maps I got out of Miasma looted Chests...
2 in water locations
1 Under a mountain
1 on a small slope (mound)
1 in the middle of forested area, flat ground.
In all locations, I get the message " I stop digging because I can not see the correct location".
So.. Tram location t-maps looted off Miasma in Malas seem rather buggered.

All I can suggest is you keep them and you'll be able to redecode them in 30 days. The Devs said on UHall they are aware of the issue and will fix it.
