The March Fishing Contest Award ceremony was held on Saturday evening at a small venue just east of Trinsic marketplace.
It was a beautiful evening in Trinsic, the weather cooperated with a mostly clear sky and gentle breeze from the sea.

The event was hosted by Governor Thom of PGoH and Piper, also of PGoH.

There were many noted fishermen among the crowd as well as spectators, cheering on their favorites..
Also noted among the group was Jack the Loanshark, who was taking a great interest in the ceremony.. while trying hard not to seem like it.
Perhaps he bankrolled one of the contestants.. sadly we will never know since Jack declined to comment.

All the fisherman turned in great looking fish, but the winners in the three categories were truly monumental..

Taking the Blue Fish category was Yoda with a 176 stone Great Barracuda..
Prize for this category was 1 million gold. Great Job Yoda!

Winning the Rare Fish category was A Miss Take with a 158 stone Yellowtail Barracuda
Netting her 1.5 million gold.. Way to go Miss Take!

And finally, the Legendary Fish category was won by Adrian Monk with his 103 stone Stone Fish..
Bringing him a whopping 2 million gold.. bet that one was hard to land!

Thanks to all the fishers for their entries, it was clear everyone had spent much time hanging hooks..

And also thanks to Governor Thom of Trinsic and the PGoH for hosting this event!

Brushing off my fisherwoman! You are all in trouble! Molly Malone knows her fishes!

In Dublin's fair city,
Where the girls are so pretty,
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone,
As she wheeled her wheel-barrow,
Through streets broad and narrow,
Crying, "Cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh!"

"Alive, alive, oh,
Alive, alive, oh,"
Crying "Cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh".

She was a fishmonger,
But sure 'twas no wonder,
For so were her father and mother before,
And they each wheeled their barrows,
Through streets broad and narrow,
Crying, "Cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh!"

(chorus)

She died of a fever,
And none could relieve her,
And that was the end of sweet Molly Malone.
But her ghost wheels her barrow,
Through streets broad and narrow,
Crying, "Cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh!"

(chorus)x2

In Trinsic, fair city
Where the buildings are pretty
Twas there that I did spy
Fair Thommy the Gov

As he called to the masses
Both laddies and lasses
Crying come get your prizes
And try not to shove

Please try not to shove
Don't drop from above
Just come give your fishes
To Thommy the Gov

He held a fish tourney
To it folks did journey
And cast in their lines to
The wild oceans wide

And the biggest was weighed up
The losers were ate up
Grand prizes were given
And Thommy then cried

Please try not to shove
Don't drop from above
Just come give your fishes
To Thommy the Gov
