Is it possible to get them sit at a table versus always standing?

Yep, just put the chair down and when you place the mannequin, target the same tile the chair is on.

How about commission vendors? They seem to fall into the chair.....unless only a stone chair works vs stools or wood chairs

I've done that. The chair is placed. I target the same tile. The mannequin just stands there like a dolt.

CC seated, EC standing on the chair.

Try picking the chair up, even though it's locked down it should still move..and the mannequin should sit down..nvm it's an EC client thing...switched clients and in classic the mannequin is sitting, in EC it's not....
