Join us for the mage poker event inside the "Red Wolf Cafe" inside the city of Gyldenfeld. Registration begin at 8:30pm with the game beginning at 9pm EST.

Mage Poker is a fun and fast-paced casting game, utilizing the Level 5 spell, Summon Creature. For each round, the host will call out a "hand", a combination of creatures needed to complete the round. For example: Two walrus and a grizzly bear!

All contestants begin quickly summoning creatures, releasing those that dont fit the hand. When they have all the creatures needed, they approach the host and open a trade window. At this time the host will call an end to the casting and check to make sure it's the right combination. If so, then the contestant wins that round, which will have a predetermined point value based on difficulty.
Points will be tallied after ten rounds and the winner will receive a check for 100k gold!

Notes:

Summon Creature uses the reagents Blood Moss, Mandrake Root and Spider's Silk. If you dont use lrc you will need a LOT of these. LRC is recommended!

Mages, please arrive on foot, as it is possible that some rounds could use 5 control slots.

I will have a limited amount of spell scrolls and reagents available as a courtesy in case someone does run out of reagents or is too low level to cast a Lvl. 5 spell consistently.

One round will be a "secret bonus round" which will have a special prize! This will be announced at the end of all rounds.

Wow... very original idea and this sounds like a lot of fun! But which shard should we be looking to join you on? Feel free to post your event in the UO RP Events Calendar as well so you can get the word out across the forums!
