Loot of [Renowned]'s

Is there something special about the loot of mobs with the [renowned]-tag? I just was able to get Vitavi[renowned] killed. It took ages and the loot was really disappointing. He left a clan ribbon chieftain corpse and loot was the same as the regular clan ribbon courtiers.
Btw those have a chance to drop essence of balance.

fairy dragons - essance of diligence

Have more just have to remember what came off of what

Oh yea most of the renowned guys are easy , archers kill them fast but they don't drop very good loot atleast not yet.

As I was doing one of them yesterday, I noticed that you get major loyalty points after killing the renowned. Think it was about 500 a piece.
But other than that, yeah... crappy loot
