If any of you have the Cursed version of the Hat of the Magi and Staff of the Magi, it appears that they can be used as an ingredient for a NON-cursed Kotl item.
So far, I've made a normal Kotl Black Staff out of a cursed SotM. While it says it takes the color of the wood, it doesn't actually appear to, so just use normal wood.
I'll try the glasses using a cursed HotM tomorrow, after my next Kotl city run.
