Even without the bless on invasion books, does anyone think scrappers will be used as long as invasions are going on?

I Siege bless the Scrappers I have. I with that run 1/2s and 0/3s unblessed. I truely suck as a mage, but 2/6 speed is pretty cool.

I agree that they don't really need to be blessed, but I just hate the unbalance of nonfaction mages on siege.
You can bless a weapon that has absolutly godly mods, and a mage can bless a scrappers and the dexxer will absolutly own the mage if they are both in gm gear.
5 mods on a blessed weapon is so unbalanced compared even to the blessed spellbooks.
Id like to see the books become unblessed and have a random property added to them, in order to make up for the huge restrictions of item propertys a mages blessed item can have.
Even better, make it so scribes have to do something to the books to get that extra property, now you have a reason to farm books, and scribes get some work, and mages can use something that a little more on par with all the nasty weapons
