imbuing to 120

Well I asked in the help chat, and was told by 2 people you can go from 100 to 120 in 4 hours. I was planning on getting some sots. I should of, considering it would of been cheaper. Buying the magical resdue and crintine cost 3 mil to get from 118 to 119.... it also has taken over 12 hours to go from 100 to 118. I followed the guide on uo guide and thier 4 hour help advice. I am imbuing refect physical dmg to a heavy plate jingsomething lol, the helmet.
It is made out of gold, and I am doing max , till it needs a special ingredent. So ethier they changed it,I am doing Iit wrong, or they just tell tall tales of 4 hour 100 to 120 imbue? Thanks for any response.

That was likely before the mage armour change in a few publishes ago.
Nowadays I find far more productive to eat a sots, log my imbuer off, get on my dexxer and hit Shame to kill eternal gazers, wind elementals or UEVs to fill bags of stuff to unravel.
Fill 3 or 4 bags, drop at your house near the soulforge, log the imbuer, unravel, get sots gains, log off. Rinse an repeat.

The sots timer now stops ticking when you log off, so you can rinse and repeat that for a loooong time till the sots wears out.

I totally cheated with imbuing training. I paid a friend £20 to train mine up for me while I was at work. Took him about 3 days from memory.
