Human to Elf on a red character

Not sure where to post this question but I have a character that is human and I am wanting to make him an elf but he is red. Is it possible to do the quest as a red? Everything I have read says it can only be done in tram, I hope that's not right...

Impossible. 1 part of quest is in Ilshenar.

You can do it with red.

The escort thing, just escort any NPC in felucca and it's done.

Have you tried lookng in Santuary? That's where i went to get my red through the spell weaving quest.

Yes, you can do the elf to human heritage quest on a red. Follow the instructions here, but instead of escorting Lissbet, you can perform a different prisoner escort quest.
