How to make big money

I have just returned after a year away and the cost of just about everything has increased, I’m on Atlantic and house prices are through the roof. With houses and high end rares etc that cost hundreds of millions of gold, or keeps/castles at multiple plat, im curious how people earn that kind of money by just playing the game i.e no duping or buying gold etc?

atlantic is the most populated shard and thats where alot of people go to sell and buy stuff. if u play on other shards theres less people but plenty of room to place ur own house cheap enough. Everything seems exspensive but when u start getting stuff to sell and selling off stuff ur banks fill up pretty quick. They also been doing these dungeon based events thats have rewards that sell well. Making money is just about what u have that u can sell and how much time ur willing to put into it.

Go to less populated shards do thier EM events take to Atlantic get rich

Power scrolls, pets, idocs.

Rare colored cus sell for a decent amount(50 mil) and trained pets can add up to 200 mil to the value. Scrolls can be up to 145 mil last time i bought some.

The big events like the one we just had are great for gold. For example... last even I gathered the eggs and sold them for 10 mil per 100.

Get into a guild.
Do hunts with guild.
Sell loot from hunts on a commission vendor.

I’d avoid buying a house from someone if you can. Just find whatever plot you can and work your way up over time. Predatory “realtors” in this game are annoying as hell… buying a plot and selling it for like 500 times the initial plot amount.

If you just do all the seasonal content and sell early drops then it's not that hard to make a couple hundred million per event or even more depending on effort. Just don't expect to get to the top within your first couple of months. But if you literally grind content for vendors, it will add up.

All good advice, thanks. I came back about 3 years ago and sold of a load of my vet rewards so have a good few hundred million put by but the prospect of spending upwards of 500 million i.e just about all i have, for a house is just crazy. After many hours of combing the map, I have managed to find a spot for a smallish two story, not as big as i would like but grateful to find anywhere on Atl and will do for the time being and it only cost me 75k.

How do the drops for events, seasonal content etc work, does everyone who show up get something or is it strictly limited?

Like others have said Do hunts sell the drops you get.
Do EM events and sell the EM drop after the event. A lot of them will sell high the night of the event then cool off on price after and may get back up to higher price after words.
There No money in housing unless you can place a Max storage. on ATL there are 100s of smaller spots open.

I would like to second that. I had a couple max storage houses from ice island to the trinsic woods on Atl and always placed them myself basically for free. I miss the beach sometimes.

Anyone can do those and events. Last event just ended so next one may be a few months away.

I participated in 2 EM events recently. I got zilch. Frankly I have better things to do than to become a player that chases EM events from shard to shard.

You get a guaranteed drop every 4th event or so, you'd have to talk to someone that does them regularly for tips and tricks though. I still find doing the buy low and sell higher on VS/Safes is the best way to make quick money in this game
