How to increase damage output solo?

One oblivious way is Discordance.

Another way is Provocation mastery... but you usually prefer Taming mastery, don't you?

Are there other ways?
Is a mage weapon with HLD/HLA can be useful? Or hitting a big boss with your sword sounds like a suicide?

I think spellweaving is a popular choice. Gift of renewal on the pet for extra healing then WOD at the end for nice damage to finish them off.

Has anybody tried to use other masteries?
For example,
swordsmanship mastery can do -20 physical res
archery mastery can add SSI and HCI to party members (do pets count?)

Now my tamer has 120 magery and 120 meditation (no eval).
I'm looking for what I can do to increase his damage output.

I checked necro spell. It seems only Strangle and Wither can be used by a tamer (besides Wrath). But they do too low damage...
I can replace mage+med to sword+tactics to use onslaught. But this means now taming mastery... Also no Invis (although I can use para instead).
Are there any other ideas?

Run taming mastery for pet healing
Wraith form for mana leech
AI with slayer for damage output
Spirit speak for mana leech/healing
Chiv for conc weapon/eoo/curse weapon/extra healing for pet & self
