I received the information via pm from you, if you wish me to retract the offer than I will do so. As I explained this is not a traditional auction in the sense that the highest bidder wins, the owner will accept all offers but will make the ultimate decision whether the bid will be accepted.

bandw, maybe you should just offer more than 500m, like 505 or whatever.. i dont think anyone will ever offer 1b or 1.5b for that lantern, but well thats just my opinion.

Yes indeed, he has received an offer of 1.5 bill, but because the potential buyer has not come up with the full amount of gold, the lantern is still for sale.

As to what I think, that matters very little as I have no say in whether a bid is accepted or not. I am merely helping with the sale.

Chaosy has already stated that if he doesn't sell the lantern he'll simply keep it on his account when he closes it.
