Have the Captains in BT dungeon been revamped?

I just did some captains over the weekend. I won't say it was "easy", but I managed to successfully kill the Sampire, and an archer without too much issue. Took my maybe 10 mins each?

Maybe you just got unlucky and rolled an uber one or two?
