Halloween Trick or Treat items over the years have changed and some have been added and taken away.
I was curious about what and when we got stuff and i was surprised to see the lack of complete resources around for this (some places had earlier stuff some have later stuff)

thought id compile a anthology then once completed add it to the rares forum collection for future resource searching.

anyone recall what we got and when?

i know 2006 was the start of the 'trick or treat' for Halloween.

and why do one a few of us have 14 and most people 13 different kinds?

I'd like to know how begging actually affects the trick or treating drop rate. GM begging doesn’t seem to give a perceptible boost over lower levels, or even no begging. I’d also like to know if luck has any affect on the drop rate as well.

My GM begger, who the NPCs seem to think its totes adorbs, has enough candy (9k+ stones worth) to perpetrate a Dr. Evil-esque plot to send all of Sosaria into a diabetic coma… *places pinky on chin and laughs maniacally*

I haven't done much Trick or Treating yet, dealing with irl halloween stuff, costumes for my girls...shopping all weekend..AHHHHH but so far I have only gotten 2 small webs and a gruesome standard with 91.9 begging. Last year I did get the heads on pikes and the skulls and my begging was lower (Found me some pinks!) so GM Begging doesn't seem to factor in at all...which is kind of a bummer because that is a skill that takes A LOT of time to GM.

There is one on Catskills near the Gargoyle City. The Zombie got stuck at the moongate spamming "Trick or Treat" non-stop for over an hour... and then of course nothing when I paged. They are back at it again this morning.

Dang now I found why I was unable to see the last 3 new items. The newest client patch is sort of failed and I was unable to see the graphics of those items. I finally realized this when I found my backpack contains a bunch of invisible items...

hmmm, the publish notes just say "new additions to trick or treat" they didnt say anything about the old stuff not being available.

that would jive with your picture as a couple of us have a extra green Rock Candy to make our total 14.

I know they came out 2009 I think and ran 2 or 3 years... then were off one or two I think and then back once I think but then because someone said something about the 2009 title they quit showing up ..... however you still get the harvest wine 2009 from the old Cornucopia... not the Horn of Plenty.

Lol, literally about 2 seconds after I posted that, I got a crystal skull at 50.3 begging after about an hour of ToT'ing.

I have GM begging, and all I get is candy, grim warnings, webs, giant pumpkin deeds, guillotines and covered chairs, nothing else at all. I have had to empty my pack 6 times, so I am frustrated to say the least. Wondering if certain NPCs give better stuff than others.

i totally got the the flirt from the RNG this year.
like 2 minutes in i got a tray of candy apples which of course got me all excited to TOT, now 2 days later and all im getting is guillotines and webs over and over and over and over......

i even put on a luck suit even though im 99.9% sure it does nothing.
but then i still eat fish steaks in game so my toons arnt hungry..... just in case it does something.

OK, here are my findings.... My GM beggar gets all the stuff with a drop averaging one per 42 minutes. My Beggar with 50 skill gets all the old drops but none of the "new" drops at one per 24 minutes. My beggar with 70.6 skill gets all the drops at one per 1 hr 4 minutes average. Across the board I see evil twin average of once per 9 minutes with teleport one every six visits of the evil twin. This was tested on Origin almost since Halloween started. Not sure if luck helps or not for the drops. Gm had 2400 luck, the rest 0 luck. Seems to make no difference. Gm stayed full, the other two did not eat at all. Hope this helps.

GM begging is the answer! Im thinking the drop rate is the same as when we did paragon farming. Also maybe its the shard your farming on. ( the amount of players farming the same NPC's?)

Congrats on the 14 lamps, that stat right there causes me to lose any faith at all in this supposed RNG.

That's how you can tell if someone is old school, when they die they still have fish steaks on their Corpse..they remember the days of "yeah eating does stuff" that's why we miss..yup thats it! Richard Garriot was a sneaky little RPer..yup he was!
