[Trading] Guidelines for safer trading

1. Research the seller through their Stratics profile, view threads they have traded in and the responses of their trading partners.

2. Contact previous trading partners via pm and request a reference.

3. Always trade in a secure environment, ie a Trammel town - not fel and not a private house.

4. If possible use an npc vendor.

5. If using a broker ensure it is someone you trust. Be in contact with the broker through another medium to verify their identity. Brokers can be impersonated.

- If conducting a trade never bring the other individual to your house, especially if you will be releasing items. It permits them to return at a later time and possibly take them as they are released.

- When using a broker, have the broker explain the process in full to you. Different brokers conduct trades in different ways some which better protect the buyer and some which better protect the seller.

- If a broker is not available for a large trade or one exceeding 100m, use supplemental items to replace checks. For example an item being sold at 200m, you could use 8 transfer tokens valued at 25m each.
