It goes well enough, though I fear I might be cooking again today and we all know how that works out.

Do you think it will be much of a problem to use machine oil in place of vegetable oil?

Just make sure it's new and unused.

and it is, but remember, used machine oil is only good for fertilizing the lawn, clean oil can be used in baked goods.
