Aulbrey made her way around town it seemed like a typical morning. The baker’s oven must have been on for a few hours now since the smell of freshly baked bread could be smelled from quite a distance. The shepard’s in the sheep pen’s were already tending to their flocks. Walking towards the winery aulbrey heard a scream. She began to run towards the winery hoping the bottles were safe.
As she grew close she noticed a small gathering near the town stone. Her eyes grew wide, there on the ground layed a headless corpse. Who would do such a thing she thought to herself then it occurred to her where was the head. aulbrey looked around and then she saw it, the head was securely attached to the bulletin board next to the Abbey. She sighed and asked for one of the monks to send a healer to take care of the body until it could be identified.
Aulbrey Hurried to the Office and tried to figure out a way to show the people that everything would be ok. Gold always calmed her down...... I will share gold she thought to herself and with that she went to hide a pot of gold or two out in the city.
