Gaining swordsmanship at 85?

I don't have a guild to help me try the golem route, so I need to solo my way for now. Getting no gains off earth els or dc els.

What should I be hunting?

Yeah, but since those are 7 years old they're not really that helpful.

Cyclops and titans are good for training Swords.

ogre lords are fine at 85, or yosh warrs in the mines.

trogs will also work but they will be kinda slow till you are gmish

I went and fought trogs till 94, but I've hit a wall. I've killed a half dozen trogs using a beat up butcher knife (which takes forever) and didn't gain even .1. Before I was gaining .1 or so per trog.

Looking for suggestions now.

The link I provided is three and one-half years old, but it's still pertinent today As the FAQ suggests:

90.0 - 120.0 - Black Solen Infiltrator (Queen)
90.1 - 120.0 - Bone Knight, Frost Troll, Skeletal Knight
95.1 - 120.0 - Artic Ogre Lord, Ogre Lord
100.0 - 120.0 - Giant Beetle, Fire Beetle, Plague Beast Lord
110.0 - 120.0 - Hiryu, Lesser Hiryu

If all else fails, try hiring an 8gp fighter in the Jhelom pits and fight with them. You can fight more than one at the same time. Just be sure to keep yourself and your hireling healed. If that doesn't work, try hiring and fighting a Paladin from Delucia.
