The other alternative is to put on items to 85 and do deathstrikes. I have a house a couple screens from Luna, and I would make a UO Assist macro to make small shadow jumps from my house to Luna and then another macro to shadow jump back to my house. I make it small hops so that if I fail, I can still make it to the next jump.

ring and bracer combo to 85...deathstrike. take them off as you reach 85 without the other. then take both off. approximatly 1,354,765 deathstrikes later you'll be legendary.
