Two Questions for the price of one

What's the best way to gain compassion with a non-gating warrior? I've got two charcters I'd love to gain compassion on, but without gate, I need to hoof it.Suggestions?

And what is a good range of stats for a ninja? I am finding I need more than the 37 int I had... damn death strike.

Compassion I'm not sure...I can't answer that question right off since I have not worked that in a while. The quickest used to be in New Haven and you could get NPC's that would goto nearby towns. Or use Jhelon and get some of the bride NPC's or the groom NPC's. It's about a 50/50 chance usually to get some place close.

As far as ninja stats I have 100 mana before using potions. I don't recall what the base stat is however since I have mana increase as well as capped LMC. How much LMC are you running with?

For Compassion gains you have 2 choices. You can either escort Lissbet to her grandfathers sheep farm or you can escort Bravehorn to his lake. Lissbet is located just above the Oaks spawn in Ilsh around the inn, with the farm she needs to go to directly center left across your game screen. It takes about a minute or 2 to get there. Bravehorn is the same creature you escort in the human to elf quest.

Building up compassion sounds really monotenous, is it really worth it for the benefits you get Connor?

That depends on how often you hunt in groups. It's a huge help if you group hunt often, not so much if you run solo most of the time. I used to keep mine at knight religiously because I would hunt with friends just about every night. It takes 20 minutes to run 5 quests with Lissbet, in between quests you can kill shadow wisps for bones. Bravehorn I've heard you can run one right after the other, but I've never tried it so can't say for sure. I stopped working Compassion when I stopped hunting in groups daily. Besides, my sampire can't rez anyway, so there's no point in working the virtue on him to begin with.

I can't really remember if it does or not. I'm thinking not, but it's been quite a while since I've actually had Compassion worked on any of my characters.

Fastest way is to go to the Orc dungeon with a casting friend and have them gate you. In the dungeon you can do the escorts back to back, takes about 5-6 minutes to get your five for the day, and since they are "rescue" missions, they count for more and you gain more compassion.

As Connor mentioned, compassion is nice to have for group fights, either Peerless or Spawn, as rezzing someone in a tight spot at 80 percent of their health is helpful, so they don't immediately get beat down again. Once you have it to Knight level, it only takes 3-5 escort runs a week to keep it there so it's no effort at all.

Compassion does not work with sacrifice. Compassion you use on others. Sacrifice you use on yourself. Hence you have compassion for others and sacrifice your own virtue to save your butt.

With Knight of Compassion, you give anyone you rez around 80% life back on rez. With Knight of Sacrifice, you get 3 rez a week. Just rework fame back up to glorious or lord and go virtue sacrifice an undead mob to maintain it (I use liches). Can't recall per say if that matters. Either way, both are relatively simple to maintain once you get them up there.
