[Fishing] Fishing Powerscroll

I've been playing a little more lately, and I met the neighbor who has the house behind me. He's a keen fisher, and he gave me a +10 Fishing Powerscroll as a gift. Very kind.

I was about to use it, but the +10 cap isn't transferable. My fisher has only used a +10 Magery, and he's GM fisher. But the skills for fishing are the same as treasure hunting, and my t-hunter has been my main character, with a +20 provo, etc. It dawned on me that it may be more effective to put the +10 Fishing on my t-hunter instead.

Then, of course, I wouldn't have separate fisher and t-hunter. I'd have a combo fisher/t-hunter and a ... retired fisher / mage, I suppose I'd call him.

Did anybody go through this thought process and combine their fisher / t-hunter when fishing powerscrolls came out? (Kind of like this forum combined into a single forum, no?)

My T hunter is a mystic Mage with cart, lockpick, mining. He has eaten a lot of 120 scrolls so I can just swap skills around with soulstones easily. What I usually do is stone off focus 120 and swap this for 120 fishing.

Yeah, it just seems to make sense to load up a single character with scrolls rather than spread them out on multiple characters.

I would listen to Djad on the T-hunter. That is good advice and a great template. I recently made a dedicated T-hunter Mystic/Mage rather than using my fisherman and stoning skills around. Made a world of difference and the L6 maps are now a breeze where as my fisherman could do them but was a struggle.

Since many of the legendary and rare BIG fish require fishing in some rough dungeons I set my fisherman up with max hide and stealth. Makes getting to some of the tougher fishing holes a lot easier. Welcome back Dizzy.
