Walking slowly, Skaros the Spymaster made his way around Empath Abbey and to the gravesite. Even though he was accustomed to dealing with death, delivering it was part of his profession, his heart felt heavy and his eyes went watery as he approached.
Skaros swallowed hard. He walked around the grave to inspect the stone.
Nodding to himself Skaros thought, "The stonecutters did a fine job. And the epitaph is most fitting."
Skaros straightened his back, lifted his chin and saluted.
"Farewell my dear friend."
