The whole system of points is horrible, people have been farming them with a bug to get tons of em, and now you need tons of em to even get to rank 10.

Added to that, there is no competition anymore, before, 100 points was alot, it meant that the player was a good one, now 100k points on a char is garbage.

For the sake of the faction, maybe we start from scratch ? or the gms give all faction members around 8 points ? ( what was enough at the time to get rank 10 )

So we can start the competition again !

There is no bug! People are just getting double points for killing in faction towns. Yew bank area can be a great spot for killing faction people & getting double points.

My thief has 500 points and he is at faction rank 10 so i don’t know where you’re problem is? My thief can wear all the faction arties with 500 points.

As far as competing goes everyone still competes its just at a higher point level now

It depends wich faction you are in, CoM for example requires about 10k points to get to rank 10, and it keeps rising since people are abusing a point farming bug/exploit.

Winker is right about the rank system. For some reason its possible to have rank 10 with like 4 points in TB and its quite odd when considering that Splup has got 2 million points on his mage. Currently the competition is gone but atleast everyone is able to achieve rank 10. Only way to start competition is to reset factions and remove the opposite faction/war zone point multipliers from the game. Although with the current system the faction points are just public joke.

I hear what you are saying. But to be fair 1 faction kill gets you and average of 20k points now. So all you have to do is kill 2 or 3 people and you are sorted for points for a while to come.

As Jii pointed out the current point system is joke, and the double points system should be taken out and to push things further, posbily resetting everyone points to 300 and starting over might be a good idea
