Below are the first events for January, with more details forthcoming.
Friday, January 10th, 7pm EST - Royal Council Meeting
The first Council meeting of the new year will take place. No specific agenda is set, other than some discussion of the delegation to Tokuno.
Monday, January 13th, 7pm EST - Meeting in Zento
The Britannian delegation, led by Governor Warstein meet with representatives of the Empress of Tokuno. THIS IS A ROLE-PLAY CENTRIC EVENT. I do not typically say this, but I want to make clear that this event is for role-playing purposes, and is not likely to contain any sort of combat. For those who wish to attend, please meet outside of Castle Blackthorn as that is likely where the delegation will be leaving from. This meeting has become necessary after Lieutenant Jeffrey led a force of armed Britannians into Tokuno to retrieve an Artifact of the Pentad - without consulting Zento. It would seem the Empire frowns upon such things. For details on this, please consult THIS PAGE.
Monday, January 13th, 9pm EST - Catskills Throwing League Championship
Following a lengthy regular season, the top Throwers face off one final time. All of Catskills is encouraged to come and support their favorite Thrower. A moongate will be provided from the EM Hall.
Friday, January 31st, 7pm EST - RBG Town Guards Initiation
The first initiation ceremonies for the new Town Guards. Individual enlistees will be sworn in and given their assignments. New regiments are also asked to participate, with the intended Regimental Captain and at least one other member present. Initiations will take place in each town. Please see Sir Andrew at Castle Blackthorn for the locations for the initiations.
Benambra's Trail: A Foe Revealed? (1/27-2/4)
The "Benambra's Trail" arc begins its end with this Investigation event. There will be three potential discoveries made, including the identity of the villain who has, thus far, operated from the shadows in our story. The event will begin on the evening of the 27th, and run for approximately one week. You may complete it at your leisure during this time. As always, reports filed in the mailbox at the small house next to the EM Hall will be used to assign scores in the Investigator's ranks. You will find Detective Thorpe in his usual location in the courtyard of The King's Castle...or will you? BwahahahahaHAHAH..*cough cough* ah..hah..*cough*...haaa...Shoulda laid off that last "aha".
