I am pretty sure all the PvPers know this by now ? Unless your PvMing you really wont have to worry about jewels breaking for quite some time. If you think its to expensive because its antique its not.... Many similar jewels of such power sell for the same. I actually just sold a dexxer ninja jewels a ring and bracelet for a bill each.

But yes I wouldn't use this if your PvMing massively it will lose durability faster then PvPing.
