[Blacksmithing] Enhancing weapon not changing damage type

I'm attempting to make 100% elemental maul. After reforging several near-misses (60/40 ele/phys dmg), I tried enhancing them to achieve 100% ele dmg, but the enhancement doesn't do anything to the damage type. Here's my results:

60/40 Fire/phys enhanced with Bronze: no change; expected 100% fire
60/40 Energy/phys enhanced with Bronze: no change; expected 60/40 Energy/fire
60/40 Energy/phys enhanced with Valorite: no change; expected 60 Energy/20% Cold/10% Fire, 10% Poison

Am I missing something?

Problem solved... the dmg type was not being updated by EC. Had to reload items for update to process.
