Does the house quest stop when the house has been won?

We've got a guy on Atlantic that keeps saying the human house was won by a guy named Blue Duck every now and then. Does the quest stop when the house is won? We're still doing it as hard as we can.

As tjalle posted, on shards that someone actually won, they couldn't do the quest anymore.

If you can still do the quest, it looks to me like the guy on Atlantic is trying to fool folks into not trying to reduce competition and thus improve his own chances at winning

Of course, it could be that the devs don't update the quest until the following morning. Still, you should do it. At the very least you'll get a go at the war chest.
