Commanding Lord election tie?

does anyone know what happens in the event of a tie?

it seems that the election will just continue indefinitely until the tie is broken

and the current CL stays in office

Is this the case? or does it eventually decide somehow

I think the current commanding lord wins. To break the tie just find more people to vote.
