General City Loyalty/Virtue Status failed to align AGAIN update #3

As per this post General - City Loyalty | Stratics Forums I am reporting that this has happened AGAIN. Sorry a little upset.

8 out of 9 chars failed to align. These chars were last logged 0530 (PST) 7 Sept 2012. No futher log-ins
1 out of 9 aligned This char was used from about 1800 (pst) till 2130 (PST) filling BODs.

4 out of 9 chars failed to align. These chars were last logged 0530 (PST) 11 Sept 2012. No futher log-ins
5 out of 9 aligned. These chars had been used during the day.

ARGH AGAIN!
Exceedingly frustrated on Napa, despite logging in 9 Venerated characters twice yesterday in the am and pm, today 6 of the nine have dropped back to Adored yet again. If the servers aren't saving our log-ins, could you please just shut off the loyalty decay until you can repair this properly? Took 30+ angry rioter escorts to get first char back to Venerated. Five more to go.

I am having an awful time keeping my characters loyal. I have 8 characters for 8 different cities at Adored from 3 separate accounts. I have one character for 1 city at Venerated. In the last week, I am getting the message the moons fail to preserve and they are dropping to Respected and Adored on the Venerated one, even though I'm opening them every day. I faithfully sign each character in every single day.
This has been and is a lot of work and is a royal pain in the butt when you think you are doing everything right. Granted, it doesn't take a lot of work to get them back, but multiply by 8 and it IS a lot of work and time that I'd rather be spending on something else.
After they said they fixed the loyalty dropping, I had no trouble until the last week or so.
We were told that city loyalty was going to be important, has that been forgotten by the present dev team?
Should I just forget it?
What are the rules about characters to maintain loyalty?
Anyone else having this problem?

PLZ turn off decay until this is fixed for good City Loyalty/Virtue Status
