Castle Ladder Help?

I have been able to place ladder to all rooftops except the front right roof. I have tried everything I can think of to set the ladder (facing either east or south) to no avail. I keep geeting a ladder broken into two parts. I have tried setting it bot one & two tiles from roof edge and from left to right across entire walkway.

Any suggestions would be welcomed!!

they are all like that...its just on that section, you can 'see' the 'break'. the small ladder makes it so you can get OUT of that roof top, back to the castle proper.
