Not sure as I can never find any runed switches for sale! If you have some maybe copy a char to test center and try would be only way I can think of to be sure.

Its a reward from the Covetous void pool that gives you 100% success when smelting.

Given the number of charges they spawn with, compared to items such as bandage summoning talismans from Heartwood, I would guess it to be highly unlikely. But then again that's only my guess.

I believe you can't. Otherwise there is no sense in such reward.

Doesn't work "That is not a valid target.". Those switches are a pain in the butt to make!
