bushido parrying

to hit more damage in doom with my sampire, im thinking to equip hammer pick for AI instead of 2 handed weapon. So the question is, should i equip a shield also ? UOGuide says if you combine Bushido with parrying, you defend with weapon, but what happens, when you equip a shield also ?

Everything in Doom has at least one low resist, so you're probably better off with double strike.

2h weapons generally have more base damage than 1h weapons.

If you equip a shield you will have less defence than without it.

If either your Parry or Bushido score is above 100 then you have 5% Parry with a shield.
