General Bug with chat color change

Opened options menu, pressed eye ball tab, scrolled down changed general chat channel color to dark blue, select Okay in color prompt, pressed Okay on options menu = game crashed and gives me a popp up that says fatal - could not open files for writing then a file location.

This sounds like a permission issue. I would suggest you check the folder permission related to the character in question. The default location for character data should be:

C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\EA Games\Ultima Online Legacy\User Data\<Account Name>\Chesapeake\<Character Name>\
