I dont think so since he did withdraw his bid before the seller discounted ur bid as BS. So It is back on u after his withdraw. Its very clear if u look at all the posts in order. But again the seller dismissed ur bids so I think its best to restart this auction. These games of upbidding and not honoring is completley childish and messing things up, if anyone bids and doesnt honor it unless they say they withdraw like he did I think they should be banned or some way to discredit the said individual of not honoring where everyone can see.
He bid 400 before the OP said my bid didn't count so he has to honor his 400. I don't understand what you are getting at.
U must be dumb as hell, sorry but look at the posts J said he withdrew his bid and in my opinion meant all his bids but even if not ur still on the hook. To me it seems ur playing games so gtfo of here if thts the case.
Yes people can withdraw especially when they know someone s bidding up on purpose to make someone pay more when u wont honor ur bid. I think that is acceptable unless ur doing it all the time. Though here I see why since he considers u a troll on his bids. He seems to have some good proof and others that stated u never paid which to me is BS. Again Gtfo of here if ur playing games
Do you not understand how easily that can be abused if anyone can withdraw at any time? and you call me dumb? lol
There is no official rule on how many times, but personally I would consider withdrawing bids 2 seperate times in the same month as frequent. By seperate times, I mean different days, since some people bid on multiple things and have to pull all bids when they run out of money.
Myself, the admins, and a couple other moderators have been working on a solution. We are putting the finishing touches on it as we speak, and hopefully it will be ready soon. When it is ready I will post, sticky, and lock it in all of the 4 trade forums.
A rule regarding it would be cool. However, it's not enough in this instance regarding Michael Dangerous. He's been deliberately trolling posts with no intention to pay in hopes to make others pay more. His sole intention here is to troll other users and auctions. A rule and or a temporary forum ban for him isn't enough. He needs to be IP banned and never allowed back here. I understand that everyone should be given a chance to redeem themselves though and I trust that after he is Temporary banned and warned why he was banned that he'll be monitored upon returning to assure that he's learned from his mistakes (Which he won't. It's easier to just ban him now)
What about the people that are selling an item as an auction, don't get the price they want so just ignore the highest bidder? is that being looked into as well?
Unfortunately, that is not a rule we can make. It is the right of the seller to not sell their item if they are not happy with the price, or just don't want to sell anymore. Like some lawyers say in real life, "possession is nine tenths of the law". We cannot force them to sell their item.
You can't make a rule saying the seller has to sell but you can make a rule saying the buyer has to buy? doesn't make sense to me.
Stratics perma bans work on a point system. The temporary bans work the same way. After a person has been warned by a moderator enough times, they will automatically be perma banned. So, basically, it's just a matter of time if the person chooses to keep doing it.
The rule doesn't say they have to buy, like I said it's only if they refuse to buy frequently that it becomes a problem.
Ok so why not the same for the person who is trying to sell and doesn't sell to the highest bidder
