I never understood how being a beggar in UO could be even remotely fun. The in-game skill was tedious and without sufficient reward.
The other method, that didn't require use of the in-game skill, seemed to be just as tedious. And it always looked like it invited more abuse than reward.

Now if they would allow us to go beg for stuff from certain monsters that would even make the skill even more fun.
you beg a mongbat the mongbat gives you a bowl of carrots on the bowl it would say bowl of carrots aquired from begging a mongbat/ hehe.
