So ive been thinking about doing some auctions while @BrianFreud takes a sabbatical to have his child.

Couple questions. Please number your responses accordingly so i can take notes properly.

1. Which format do you guys prefer solely in game or stratics only?

2. Silent auction or live?

3. Monthly or weekly

4. How many items?

5. price range you prefer items to be in?

2. Silent auction or live? - forum > live > silent; scheduling to be there for live or silent can be hard, and meeting up to pay for silent adds to it.
3. Monthly or weekly - no real preference
4. How many items? - tons
5. price range you prefer items to be in? - full spectrum

2. Don't mind. - If in game I do like the new auction safes because I can just leave my max bid and go.

As for the timezone I miss so many actions and events and such because I'm UK time and most of the good stuff seems to end in the middle of the night here

I travel with bands for a living, wed-saturday is pretty much out of the question. Sunday early is hard just because of travel reasons. Im in austin tx, if the gig on saturday is in Denver Colorado i wont be home in time on sunday to run the auction.

These are the reasons why i did the consignment house before, no end time just a 24 hour timer on each item once the reserve was met. Thinking a consignment house may be the best way to do things again since everyones time schedule is so vastly different.
