I would think it's more likely people duping stuff.

A shard crash is a software issue, and I dear DJAd is correct. Given the bannings from the shard shield duping and the subsistent shutdown of two websites connected with the bannings. Then the space of no crashes on any shard... Now shard crashing again and oh boy, look at what sights are back up, and who's back on stratics.. You guys do the math..
