the guy at the camp says that a crest will fall in your pack that looks like a sceptre or a crook. Well I've had sword and some chain sleeves fall in my pack and when it happened I got a message saying a crest fell in my pack, i don't see any crest. I tried handing the sleeves to the guy that list the rewards and how many points it cost and he doesn't take it. I handed it to the other guy and he took it but I didn't get any points for it. What am i doing wrong?

you single right click the guy and select "turn in Doom Items" or whatever it says, and it will give you a gump with any doom crest items in your bag that you can click on and turn in.
