you have taken a quest from one of the npcs in the entrance of the underworld you need to find the 3 other loost peeps or get thier scrolls to finish the quest..i ran into the npc that gives yopu the quest while doing the one for the flynnts notebook
Ok thanks, i don't suppose anyone has knowlege of their whereabouts.
the quest-giver is in the back of the little colony of NPCs just off to the right just after the rotworm swamp room and just before the bridge to the undead room.
To get the membership scrolls, you appear to need to kill those nasty little rotworms in the little swampy room with the bodies - once every 2-3 worms (while in that area), a scroll will drop.

Any of the rotworms give them. I got mine in that passage to the right of the entrance, with the oneway port to the Abyss entrance.
The quest gives you a blessed torch that's suppose to ward off rotworms, but I haven't noticed it doing that.

Well, it obviously didn't work for the miners 
But the torch should have spell channeling, which may make it a nice accessory for role players or anyone who likes to play a mage without the aid of nightsight items or aids. I just wouldn't go trying to smack much with it. If there's no durability showing on it, it may still have a hidden durability counter and could eventually wear out if you try to bludgeon too many things with it.

The rotworms didn't kill the miners, the goblins did. As stated by the NPC who survived, who gives the escort quest for the goblin slayer talisman.

Oops, I haven't completed that one yet - I was doing it the other day but accidentally escorted him too close to the cannons and they shot him.
However, given the location of the bodies vs the location of the goblins, I'm suspicious of his story

The quest is easy. Use the teleporter near where you find him. Only thing to worry about is the undead then. Also, he needs to be led to the area with the human NPCs, not the entrance.
Nothing attacks him, just you. Stealth works wonders with this quest.

Oh, they blasted him all right - saw it myself last night. What a pain in the backside THAT was..."Accidentally"??
Yeah, right. I don't believe your story either.
I hear its been fixed in the current patch.
